Exteriors Design Roofing Services:
Types of roofs we specialize 3-tab, Architectural, presidential, diamonds, for residential, commercials.
Here is few reasons we take pride in our work, first of all flashings are most important (do it right the first time) than exposed nails, we always use (RINGSHAKE NEOPREEN W/RUBBER WASHER) if you can take a moment and look through images.

This is right and wrong installation of any penetrations
WRONG RIGHT
INSTALLATION: When your new roof is now ready to be installed. Your roof will be professionally installed over 15 lb. or 30 lb. ASTM roof felt. It will be fastened pneumatically with staples or nails. Staples are less costly and equally as effective as nails. New pre-painted baked on enamel flashings will be installed at the gutter edges, rake edges, at roof to wall transitions, and around chimneys and skylights. If you choose, we can run "W" valley metal in your valleys as well. These flashings are typically black which tend to blend best with the "shadow" at roof transitions. It is not necessarily best to use "white" flashings on a white roof. It is best to stick with brown or black.
Why re-roof few things you should see on the shingles like discoloration, shingles starting to wrinkle or starting to brake and blown off, and most of all LEAKS AND MILDEW.
Now when you realize you need to re-roof, our crew will "tear off" the old shingles and place them in a dumpster that will be left onsite for the duration of the project. This is the most difficult and messiest part of the procedure. Our crews take careful precaution to protect your vegetation and do their best to leave the jobsite in better condition than when they arrived. The highest priority is for the house to be "dried in" or protected from the elements during questionable weather patterns. Therefore, cleanup is secondary, but still important, while the house is "open" to the elements. Also any "seen" or "unforeseen" rot will also be repaired at this point.
RESHEET: If you think you have more than 2 layers of roofing, chances are good that the roof deck will need to be re-sheeted. Usually under cedar shingles or shakes the roof deck has been skip sheeted. You can look in your attic and see if your roof has been skip sheeted by seeing gaps between the horizontal boards. If you can see tar paper or wood shingles between these boards your original roof deck was skip sheeted. Unless we are installing cedar shakes or a metal roof, the roof deck itself will need to be a solid flat surface. This is accomplished by installing ½ CDX plywood or OSB (oriented strand board) to the existing roof deck.
